As the weather was in our favour last week, we decided to explore Pyramid of Austerlitz. It is an army camp built in 1804 by Napoleon’s soldiers on one of the highest point of Utrecht ridge. It is 36 meters high and and surrounded by a forest.

People go there hiking, biking, jogging etc. Greenery around it will compel you to have a tour inside forest. You can go there with kids and can have a nice lunch over there. There are several hike path which varied from 3-16 Km. The pyramid was closed due to Covid-19 so we couldn’t climb up. I believe that view must be amazing from top. There is an amusement park too for kids and restaurant nearby where you can buy ice cream and snacks.

The hike is very peaceful and soothing as you can enjoy the pure air and chirping of the birds and also see people doing horse riding around you but if you are looking for something adventurous to do, then this might not be a good choice. However forest is beautiful to go in. Below are some pictures. Hope you are gonna like them.
