Finally, a long awaited trip is done. Yes, We did country hopping! Our base was Vienna, Austria and from there we went to Budapest, Hungary and Bratislava, Slovakia. In this blog I will acquaint you with our Bratislava trip. I will tell you about the whole journey. However, this particular blog is about Bratislava. Bratislava is the capital city of Slovakia. It’s a cosy little city which has a rich history, a vibrant culture, and plenty of sights to see and experiences to enjoy. From its charming Old Town to its stunning landmarks and delicious food and drink, there is something for everyone here.

Old Town of Bratisva – You can visit the St. Martin’s Cathedral, the Bratislava Castle, and the Michael’s Gate.

UFO Tower – The UFO Tower is one of Bratislava’s most iconic landmarks. It offers amazing views of the city. The tower also has a restaurant and observation deck, making it a great place to relax and take in the sights.

Bratislava Castle – The must visit 9th century castle which holds a rich history. You can go to museum to learn more about it’s culture, art and history.

Danube River – Well, if you are going in summers, what could be more beautiful than walking along the river or enjoying a river cruise.

Pothole Man – It is said that it brings you luck if you touch his head and get you pregnant if you touch his nose.

Overall, Bratislava is a beautiful and historic city. Well, we had only one day to explore and thus not so much time on the clock. We were little exhausted from our previous trips to Hungary and Austria. However, in that little experience I can say that it is worth visiting. Have a look at the pictures 😍
